If you are a blogger or someone who is obsessed with make up you may already have Kiss Cosmetics on your radar – if you haven’t heard of them before well I’ll tell you a little about them.
Kiss Cosmetics is the newest brand to launch in the UK – many bloggers took part in a secret Facebook group to give feedback and opinions to help shape that brand and products. initially they are focused on high quality lip products however they are already spreading their wings a little further with their newest addition to the collection – Beyond Limitations Mascara is set to launch on 28th May 2015 at an affordable cost of £9.00 which you can buy on their website www.kisscosmetics.co.uk
Beyond Limitations Mascara is a defining and lengthening mascara that comes in a stunning pink tube. Its paraben free, super black and contains a hard wax ingredient to really hold the lashes in place. and has a turbine shaped brush wand that hooks on to each lash to separate and define.
My own lashes are quite short, straight and struggle to hold a curl so I’m certainly a tough customer to please when it comes to mascaras. Below on the left is my normal lashes minus any curling or product on and the right is after curling and applying the Beyond Limitations Mascara in order to give you a good idea on the results (please overlook my eyebrows. I’m over due my usual wax but can’t get to the salon currently to get them sorted) I think you will agree that the result speaks for itself and I am VERY happy with how the product really gave me lashes.
I found that the shape of the brush worked in the sense that it does separate the lashes and gives them a thin coat of the product which I like as I prefer lots and lots of thin coats that one or two thick coats that go clumpy. The shape of the brush itself really does catch the lashes to pull them upwards however I found it was a little on the large side and I struggled to get those little lashes we all have in the inner corners and on the bottom lashes so I would love to see and baby version of this mascara to be able to really make the most of those hard to reach lashes. I didn’t have to knock off much excess either which is a plus – the large brush is quite a squeeze in and out of tube which I am guessing plays a part in not overloading it. My lashes remained pretty much as the picture showed all day and didn’t flake off or start to irritate my tired eyes late on into the day which is something I suffer from with a lot of mascaras (Bobbi Brown I’m looking at you!)
This is my first time trying the Kiss Cosmetics range and I am super impressed already – I’m eyeing up a
few all of their lipsticks already for when pay day rolls around!
Don’t forget to pick up your own tube of Beyond Limitations Mascara from the Kiss Cosmetics site when it launches on the 28th!
I hope you have enjoyed reading this post – I’d love to hear your thoughts!
