So over the past few of weeks I’ve been somewhat missing in action and taken a step back from blogging. I decided that I needed a bit of time to not only enjoy the weather but focus on me.
Last summer I got really into swimming and becoming a healthier person but then I took a job working crazy hours in a hotel and all my hard work disappeared and I put the weight I lost back on plus some more but this year I’ve started back at a place I love with working normal hours. After settling back in and finding my feet again I decided I should re-focus on my health and getting back to where I was before hence why I’ve been absent. I’ve been watching my food using the my fitness pal app and swimming -Lots of swimming which I’ve re-discovered my love for. I started back just doing 10 lengths but now I can manage 45 in one session (not none stop mind) I feel so much better and have more energy than I’ve ever had. Plus to top it off in the past 25 days I’ve lost a stone and 3lbs which I’m really pleased about. I’ve got a long way to go yet but just by adding in swimming and watching what I eat has made such a big difference.
I am back now and I apologise for being AWOL but there is lots of blog posts coming up I promise!!
